Tristan took the orb from Sephiroth. He felt a slight tingle in his body. "Lemme guess...The Orminox? I thought it was just a rumor...I didn't belive it was real." Tristan said, looking at it again. His eyes widened a little after remembering reading about its power. The power he could have with this. But he didn't know how to use it. Through all of the reading he'd done, Tristan had never learned how to control it.

Tristan looked at it again. Okay...Well....I don't know what this is then... He thought. Looking back at Sephiroth, He had a confused look on his face. "Well then...What does this do?" He asked. Tristan had never heard of Materia before. Maybe it would get him closer to Orminox.

The One Winged Angel sighed at this man's stupidity. Apparently no one new about the powers of the lifestream. "Materia is the power forged in the lifestream. It carries with it the knowlege of those long since past, the ancients. With that power, you can do things ten fold stronger than anything those nitwits at that 'schoo' can luster."

Tristan moved his arm around a little, looking at the Materia from different angles. "So that would mean....If I do something special...like...think....It will do something?" Tristan asked, looking back at Sephiroth.

A great sigh came from Sephiroth. "Watch..." He comanded as he looked out towards the water. Bringing his mighty sword into the air and dropping it quickly, A long silver beam shot from the sword searing above the water yet making it part somewhat. Turning back to tristan a grin was on his face. "Equip it into you weapon."

Tristan watched as Sephiroth's blade split the water. The stone he had in his hand now interested him greatly. The only problem was, he didn't carry his weapon anymore. He had his father sell it before leaving. "I carry no weapon with me...Is it possible to fuse it with my body?" He asked.

Tristan looked slightly confused. "And where, pray tell, would I find a weaponsmith?" He asked, looking at Sephiroth. Where the hell am I supposed to find a weaponsmith nearby? That's like, Impossible. He thought.
